The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian, Disaster, and Social Development has announced its readiness to commence the N-Power Creative training for Northern Zones in Abuja.
- Number of shortlisted applicants: 1,500

- Venue of training: Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN)
- Address: PSIN is located along Kubwa Express Road, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja
This was made known via its social media handles on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Launched in 2016, N-Power Tech is a component of the N-Power Programme and is focused on equipping Nigerians with relevant skills and certification.
The trained beneficiaries will become competent workers, innovators and entrepreneurs prepared for both the domestic and global digital job market.

It is expected that the N-Power Creative training programme will upskill 1,500 young Nigerians on the global radar as exporters of world-class services and content in the animations sector.
The ministry said, “This training component is targeted at developing competencies of the youth in domestic production which will be catalysed.”
It would also provide as the groundwork to make Nigeria compete in the outsourcing market for animation that is currently a mainstay for many Asian countries.
Other areas of focus of the empowerment programme are:
- Digital animation studio in storytelling,
- Illustration,
- Voice acting,
- 2D and 3D animation.
The programme will also start the talent development effort for the growth of the animation industry in Nigeria.
Training for Southern Zones was completed last year.
1500 beneficiaries have been shortlisted for the North as was the case for the South.
Already, some applicants have started receiving invitation training SMS.
Here Are The Training Requirements:
If you are among the successful beneficiaries, here are the requirements to be accepted into the training camp:
- Valid means of Identification
- 2 photocopies of your ID card
- 2 photocopies of Bank BVN print-out
- Clothes,
- Footwears,
- Toiletries
- And other personal belongings
NOTE: Beneficiaries are not allowed to come to the training camp with metal object or cutlery, boiling rings or electrical appliances.
COVID-19 protocols in camp:
All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to as such, you are urged to come to the camp with your facemasks
