When the news of the sacking of 35 aides of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo broke, one of the questions we received today is: Is N-Power Coordinator Afolabi Imoukhuede among those sacked by Buhari?
Considering the impact Afolabi Imoukhuede is making it would have been a sad news for beneficiaries if he was among those affected by the unfortunate power play.
Plus….
The fact that the National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) was formerly in the office of the Vice President, some volunteers were worried if he was affected by the recent sacking by the President.
The SIP programme is the major achievement of the APC-led government and Imoukhuede has been the strategic driving force behind the job empowerment.
Recall that the N-SIP was moved from the VP Osinbajo’s office to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs a few weeks ago.
That means that Mr Imoukhuede is no longer working in the office of VP Osinbajo.
Again, when we checked the full list of the 35 sacked staff of Osinbajo, the N-Power Coordinator was not affected by the political tsunami.
At infomediang, we’re happy!
Daily Post a few hours ago quoted a source within Aso Rock as saying, “The President had already approved all the aides of the VP and stipulated those to be in the villa, and those to be in the ministries.
“But by Monday, two days after the Emir of Daura praised the Vice President’s loyalty and service, the top aide, behind this whole problem ensured that all the aides deployed to the ministries should be disengaged.
“He, however, exempted those sent to the new ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.”
If our able national coordinator is not sack is a good news to us beneficiaries. Thanks for not sacking him we love our boss,God bless Nigeria
Yeah, Mr. Imoukhuede is fantastic, diligent and hard working.
