A few days ago, the Federal Government announced the approval of s private sectors to boost the National Identity Number (NIN) enrolment exercise in Nigeria.
The main mobile network operators in Nigeria – MTN, Airtel, Globalcom, and 9mobile – are among the firms that were certified by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) to handle the registration of Nigerians for NIN.
